Are you winning the race to get in shape?
Summer is quickly approaching and you know what that means. It's a race to feel good about putting on that new swimsuit! Here at the farm, it's not a sprint, but a marathon to get fit. One week at one of our Weight Loss Retreats is equivalent to an entire month in the gym!
Trying to determine how long to come to one of our retreats can be one of the biggest questions. The answer is really based on your overall goals, what you want to achieve here at the farm, your available time, and your budget.

LET'S TALK CARDIO

Our weight loss retreats at Fit Farm at Rock Springs combine strength training and cardiovascular activities to give you a true full-body workout. In this month's newsletter, we're focusing on cardio.
Not only does cardio help you burn calories aiding in weight loss, but it also has many health benefits including improving your overall heart health, lowering your blood pressure, and increasing your endurance which in turn, increases your gains in strength conditioning!
A popular goal for many guests after a stay on the farm is to participate in their first 5k. Luckily for us, 5k season is approaching and we've pulled together some resources on everything from gear, meals, and training to help you successfully cross the finish line for your very first event!
