Commonly Asked Questions

If you've never attended one of our fitness or weight loss retreats, or any retreat in general, you probably have a lot of questions. You are not alone. Finding the right retreat that matches your goals is extremely important. That's why we're sharing some of the common questions the Fit Farm team gets asked by potential future guests.

What's the average age range of your guests attending a retreat?

Guests from all walks of life come to Fit Farm. We have guests that are as young as 18 all the way up to in their late 70s! You'll find that as each new week on the farm begins, guests of all shapes, sizes, and fitness levels varies, making no two weeks alike!

Tennessee is hot during the summer. Will there be air conditioning?

You'll be happy to know that our indoor fitness facilities do have air conditioning! Our trainers carefully monitor the weather to ensure that conditions are safe when using any of our outdoor facilities. Your room and the lodge are also air-conditioned.

Do we have to hike? Is there an alternative?

At Fit Farm, you are never forced to partake in any activities that you don't want to. If you would prefer to stay on the property instead of hiking, you are more than welcome to walk/bike the trail on the farm, go for a swim in the pool or use any of our indoor/outdoor fitness facilities. If you are looking for a comparable alternative, reach out to our team who will work with you on what activities you can do on the farm for a similar calorie burn.
