We call our version, The Pumpkin Spice Protein Shake, or the PSPS. Not only is this shake healthy, but with the combination of spices and flavors, you can satisfy all your pumpkin cravings.
Pumpkins are fall’s super fruit. They are packed with immune-boosting vitamins and minerals. During fall, sickness tends to creep in with colder weather. Pumpkin can help armor your immune system because the fruit is high in beta-carotene, which your body turns into vitamin A. In this recipe, we are enhancing the fruit’s health benefits and accentuating the hearty flavor.
This PSPS will taste more like a treat than your average protein shake.
Ingredients
- 1 cup Unsweetened Almond Milk
- 1/2 cup 100% Pure Pumpkin Puree
- 1 scoop Vanilla Protein Powder
- 1/2 tsp Pumpkin Pie Spice
- Pinch of Nutmeg
- 6 Ice Cubes
Directions
- Place all of the ingredients into a blender.
- Blend to desired consistency.
- Add a little more almond milk for a thinner consistency if desired.
- Pour into a cup and enjoy!
